Plateau Girls’ will be seeking to extend their dominance at the Uasin Gishu Sub Branch Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom title set for this weekend at Huruma Grounds, Eldoret.

The school, which has dominated local secondary Schools football matches, will be facing off with Lower Kipkaren in the first semifinal match before Eldoret Falcons welcomes Mwiruti girls in the second semifinal ahead of evening finals on Sunday.
Under the tutelage of Robert Simiyu, the girls are ready to the title chase ahead of North Rift branch and Rift Valley regional championships.
Simiyu said they are ready for the challenge as they want to defend the title to book for branch and regional titles.
“This time, we want to play at the national after losing at the regional level. Our first mission is to win the sub branch, branch then regional before national finals. The girls are well prepared for the challenge,” said Simiyu.
The girls’ matches will be preceded by boys matches on Saturday at the same venue with with Mwiruti secondary seeking to defend their title sub branch title.
Under coach Fredrick Owino, Mwiruti secondary will present both boys and girls at the tournament..
boys’ category will be defending their title after losing at the regional l;evel last year.
Mwiruti will open the field against Tumkas fc before Hoffenbach play Cheptiret fc ahead of evening finals.
“Having two teams is tricky but that wont defy our able efforts,” added Owino.
