Harambee Stars defeated South Sudan in a friendly match played today at the Nyayo National stadium ahead of AFCON qualifiers.
AFC Leopards striker Elvis Rupia, making his Stars debut scored the lone goal in the 1-0 in an international friendly match.
The 77th minute solitary goal was a solace for Stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee ahead of Afcon qualifiers against leaders Egypt and Togo in pool G encounter.
Before the afcon qualifiers, Stars will face Taifa Stars of Tanzania on Monday at Nyayo and Thursday at Kasarani to complete their three-match friendly assignments.
