Sammy Okoth, the Zoo Kericho tactician is the April Coach of the month in Fidelity Insurance and Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK).
Okoth was voted by journalists after guiding his side to three victories against Tusker, Posta Rangers and Kakamega Homeboyz plus a draw with AFC Leopards ands Bandari before losing to new comers Wazito fc in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) during the month of April.
After winning the April prize, Okoth also pocketed Ksh 75,000 cash reward from sponsors Fidelity Insurance.
Zoo are currently positioned 15th on the standings with 16 points from 16 matches, and will face Mathare United in their next match this weekend
