This was the opening and disappointing quote as organisers of the Paris marathon cancelled the 2020 Paris marathon scheduled for November 15th 2020.
On Tuesday morning, the organisers announced on their official twitter handle @parismarathon saying: “After trying to do everything to maintain the event, we alongside the Ville de Paris feel obliged to cancel the 2020 edition of Marathon de Paris. Faced with difficulties, that many runners especially those coming from abroad had in making themselves available for the 15th November, it was decided that it would be better and simpler for those concerned if we organised the marathon de Paris in 2021, “n read the long twit.
