Sharks beat Homeboyz to move third

Former FKF Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks defeated their hosts Kakamega Homeboyz in today’s rescheduled match plaed at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Sharks won 0-1 to move to second position with the solitary goal coming from Ally Salum with the game starting at the 32rd minute after it was called off yesterday due to heavy rainfall. Before the game was stopped, Sharks were leading 1-0 and that remained the score until today.

With today’s victory, Sharks move to second, relegating AFC Leopards to third. Sharks have tied on points with leaders KCB with 10 points with the latter enjoying better goal difference at 6 and 5 respectively.

However, Homeboyz, who remain winless with two draws and two losses remain in position 13th with two points from four matches.
