Shujaa, the national rugby 7s team was the first team to reach the Paris, the venue for the 2024 Olympic Games in France.
After two weeks of training in Miramas, the Kevin Wambua side arrived at the Village today ready to do battle.
They checked into the pre-Olympics camp two weeks ago and have left early to put in the final touches before sevens rugby start and will be facing off with Samoa, Australia and Argentina in pool B.
Shujaa have not gone past the group stages in the last two editions and there is optimism that they will record improved results this time around.
Shujaa will begin with a match against Argentina before taking on Australia on July 24 and complete group stage action against Samoa the following day.
