Sofapaka whitewash Tusker as Police beat Talanta to close on KPL title maiden win

Former champions Sofapaka smashed former champions Tusker FC to hand Kenya Police FC a chance to win their maiden Kenya Premier League title after beating FC Talanta in today’s matches.

David Simiyu scored the solitary goal to hand Police victory to open a six point lead at the top with two matches left to play after a 1-0 win over Talanta FC in Machakos.

Tusker, who are also in the race for the title was humiliated by 2009 champions Sofapaka with a 7- beating at the Dandora stadium.

It was the day for Ezekiel Akwana led side that started the riot Jack Onganya bagging a hat-trick with a brace from Edward Ondimo then a goal each from Rodgers Kipkemoi and Wyne Messi were good for a 7- victory.
