Three Kenyans Serem, Koech and Kibiwot book final slots at Paris Olympic Games

Three Kenyans have all qualified to compete at the 3,000m steeplechase final at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Despite miscalculating at the final water jump Amos Serem, had failed to directly qualify, the National Olympics Committee (NOCK) saved him by appealing and will feature at the finals on Wednesday.

Serem will be joined by Simon Koech and double Commonwealth Games champion Abraham Kibiwot.

Competing in the second heat, Kibiwott qualified after finishing third in 8:12.02 before Koech sealed the slot in heat three.
