Emerging Stars, the Kenya’s under 20 men’s football head coach Anthony Kimani has named the provisional squad ahead of the 2027 Under 23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Tanzania.
With Egypt set to host the AFCON, the winners will qualify for the Olympic games set for Los Angeles in 2028.
Kimani named the squad where kenya will be hosting the opening leg on September 28th before travelling to Tanzania for the return leg on October 6th where the aggregate winner will take on Ivory Coast in the second round.
Among those called into the team are Aldrine Kibet of Celta Vigo, Jack Onganya of Cadiz in Spain, Brooklyn Kazungu of MK Dons in England, goalkeeper Caleb Kramer playing for ADO Den Haag, Netherlands and Humphrey Aroko of Rosengard, Sweden.
