Former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Uasin Gishu chairman Pater Chesang defeated his boss Paul Tororei to win the County chairman’s post.
Chesang, campaigning in team blue led his team to sweep majority of seats in the county, which has now been turned into branch under the new FKF constitution.
The former vice-chairman won the election after garnering 18 votes against former chairman Tororei who managed 6 votes from 24 clubs that voted.
Oliver Kiptoo of De la Sharks was elected secretary with 12 votes defeated Joshua Ariko of Eldoret Falcons women team with 6 votes as well as Edwin Kiptoo who also garnered 6 votes.
Jared Ouma Mageto won the treasurer’s post after whipping incumbent David Simiyu with 15 and 9 votes respectively.
