Eldoret Falcons hosts Gaspo Ladies in mid week fixture

Eldoret Falcons will be taking home advantage to collect all points against Gaspo Ladies in the Wednesday’s Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) match at the University of Eldoret Ground.

Despite having congested fixtures, head coach Josphat Pilishi is optimistic that that will not worry them since they have been training and preparing well for the fixtures.

He said the Federation (Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has given him about five matches in a week.

“With such congested fixtures, I will be forced to rotate my squad to avoid injuries and fatigue,” said Pilishi.

But playing on home ground, the coach said they cannot afford to lose points.

“We had four clear scoring chances against Oserian but luck was not part of us. We played to a barren draw in first leg in Ruaraka but we are prepared to maintain our second leg home form, not losing any game. Am hoping for nothing but a clean sheet win,” promised Pilishi.

Last weekend, the Eldoret based team lost by a solitary goal against Oserian Ladies in Naivasha and he has hope of redeeming his wins.

Top strikers Janet Moraa Bundi, Cynthia Mukhanji, Elizabeth Mulupi and Irene Namaemba will be expected to deliver goals for the team.
