Gathimba and Ngii miss out on medals in Oregon

Reigning africa senior Athletics 20km race walk champions Samuel Gathimba and Emily Ngii failed to win Kenya’s first medals at the World Athletics championships in Oregon, The USA.

Gathimba finished 4^th in men’s race walk when he timed 1:19:25 to miss the medal in a race won by Sweden’s Perseus Karlstrom. The Japanese duo of Toshikazu Yamanishi and Koki Ikeda finished first and second respectively.
