Reigning Kenya Cup champions Kabras RFC defeated Kenya Simbas, the national men’s 15s rugby team in a friendly match played today at the Kakamega ASK Ground.
The Jerome Paarwater side went down 25-20 as part of Simbas training ahead of Victoria and Elgon Cups set for next month.
Hillary Salano, Patrick Lumumba, and Victor Asiligwa scored for Kabras RFC while Bryson Adaka, and Alfred Orege registered their names on the score sheet for the Simbas.
Kabras RFC on the other hand are preparing to defend their title when the 2023/24 season kicks off a month from now.
