Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), Kenya Prisons and KCB recorded victories during day 2 of the ongoing CAVB Women’s African Club Championship in Abuja, Nigeria.
Former Kenya Volleyball Federation league champions Kenya Prisons recovered from their 3-0 loss to Zamalek on Friday to beat Spiking Stars in straight sets of 25-9, 25-15 and 25-16.
KPC maintained their unbeaten run to sail into the best of 16 following their 3-1 victory over Litto team in 25-20, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-21 in their second match winner.
Another Kenyan side KCB secured a comfortable win against Sococim to reaffirm their position in the championship, beating them 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21).
KCB scored the first three points to cement an early lead.
