Top Kenyans led by Eliud Kipchoge, Amos Kipruto, Sheila Chepkirui among others will be showcasing their talent prowess at the Sunday’s Berlin Marathon.
Kipchoge, who won last year’s race with a world record will be facing off with Kipruto who won 2022 london marathon title and finished second behind Kipchoge when he set the world record.
Chepkirui said: “My aim is to break my personal best. I can imagine going through the first half on Sunday in around 68 minutes,” said the 32-year-old.
Chepkirui will be hoping to go toe-to-toe with defending champion Tigst Assefa of Ethiopia, who will be chasing a course record.
