Six ladies are set to compete at the Windsor Classic, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series set for this weekend at the par 72 Windsor golf club.
With the tournament set to tee off tomorrow March 7th to 9th has attracted a total of 146 top amateur golfers from Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for a thrilling 54-hole Stroke play Championship.
The six women players are top notch Naomi Wafula, Kellie Gachaga, Margeret Njoki, Bianca Ngecu, and Diana Mbuba, will compete alongside their male counterparts in this high-stakes tournament.
With a highly competitive field, players will compete over three days, with the first two rounds of the tournament determining the top 33 players, along with ties, who will make the cut to advance to the final round on Sunday, March 9th.
The tournament boasts a prize pool of Kshs 500,000, with the winner set to walk away with Kshs 115,400, making it a highly sought-after event in the amateur golf calendar.
The defending champion, Elvis Muigua, will be returning to the course to defend his title in what promises to be a nail-biting competition.
