Karen Club’s Anthony Murage was today elected the chairman of kenya Golf Union (KGU) for the 2019/2020 season.
Murage replaces out going Lucas Maranga following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Friday night at Muthaiga Golf club.
Murage was the executive member who moved to be the treasuer in 2016/7 and has been serving as the vice chairman.
In other results, Royal Nairobi club’s Ben Omuodo was elected vice chairman as Vincent Wang’ombe of Limuru and Peter Kiguru of Sigona taking up secretary and Treasurer posts respectively.
Executive members are Ndinga Githae (Thika Sports), Karuga Macharia (Windsor), George Gathu (Kenya Airforce), Njani Nderitu (Vet Lab), Philip Ochola (Muthaiga), Peter Kimani (Ruiru).
