Mwamba RFC defeated Menengai Oilers to win the inaugural Deriftwood Sevens, the third of Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) sevens circuit in Mombasa.
Hosted by Mombasa RFC, Mwamba were 21-07 winners to lift their first title of the season to give a wide open for the title after KCB won the opener, Kabeberi before Strathmore Leos won the second leg Christie.
Then Driftwood champions KCB finished third following a 21-14 win over Homeboyz 21-14.

In the semis, champions Mwamba beat Homeboyz 10-5 as Oilers were 19-0 against KCB.
