Former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho ensured the scores were 2-2 at the break when he levelled matters in the 25th minute.

It was a good result for Al Duhail who are looking to finish the season with some piece of silverware after failing to defend their league crown while exiting the Asian Champions League at the group stage
The Emir Cup is their only chance to win a trophy in what has been a poor campaign that sees them sixth in the league standings after a brilliant 2022-23 season that saw them claim three trophies while reaching the Champions League semi-final
