Police, Gor, Murang’a record victories in KPL matches

Kenya Police defeated Kariobangi Sharks to move on top of the Kenya Premier league table after 29 matches, relegating former champions Tusker to third with Gor Mahia climbing to second .

By the start of the weekend, the brewers were on top with 52 points on better goal difference against Police, the law enforcers beat Sharks with a solitary goal to move to the top with 55 points while Tusker were held by AFC Leopards to a barren draw to move to second on 53 points.

Champions Gor, who stunned hosts Shabana FC with a solitary goal at the Gusii stadium moved to second with 53 points.

In other today’s results, Murang’a Seal edged out Nairobi City Stars 1-0 back in Murang’a as Mara Sugar was held to a 1-1 draw against former champions Ulinzi Stars.

On Friday, FC Talanta handed KCB another beating 1-0 with the goal coming from Emmanuel Osoro as former champions Soafapaka were held to a 1-1 draw by league returnees’ Mathare United.

Yesterday, Tusker was held to a barren draw with AFC leopards with similar scores when Bidco United hosted Bandari.

Tomorrow, Kakamega Homeboyz will be hosting Posta Rangers.
