Nigeria’s super Eagles won bronze ahead of finals match in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo, Egypt.
Nigeria won by a solitary goal courtesy of Odion Jude Ighalo in the 3rd minute against Tunisia in the third play-off to finish third in the 24 team.
The former champions lost in the semi-final against Algeria 2-1 while Tunisia lost by a goal to book for the play-off.
Algeria will be playing Senegal at the final on Friday night.
