Former national Netball champions Cheptil were crowned the netball champions of Moi Girls Open Tournament that ended today at Moi Girls High school, Eldoret.
The Nandi based team won all for matches on offer played in a round robin format.
Today, Cheptil started on a high note beating St. Catherine Kesses 18-14 before walloping hists Moi Girls 43-03 in the last match.
The champions had won two matches on Friday. First they shine against Shikokho 34-03 and 28-12 against Bishop Sulumet Girls, Lugari.
Kesses finished second after losing a single match to Cheptil. But they had a good tidings winning the opener against Shikokho 23-04 and 24-04 over hosts.
Today they beat tournament favourite Lugari who had a mixed outing all the way from Kakamega County after losing 18-14 to Cheptil.
Lugari finished third with two wins and two loses as Shikokho came in fourth with one win and three loses.
Hosts finished last after losing all four matches.
